Nami didn't want them to fight because it would make it take longer for them to information on the sky island. They had a limited time because they need to get the information and leave before the log pose takes on the direction of the new island they are on. After discovering that no one on that island even believes in the existence of the sky island, she changed her stance. Why should she allow her friends to get beat up by weaklings when it no longer serves the purpose of getting the information they need to get to their next location? Sometimes I read some comments and wonder if the person paid any attention to what they were watching.

Luffy told Zoro not to fight back because he’s following Shank’s example if you remember back at the bar a pirate made fun of Shanks and his crew and he even broke the wine bottle and Shanks didn’t do anything then Luffy got upset and shanks explained that there’s no need to fight it’s just drinks then Luffy ended up confronting that pirate and it all resulted in shanks loosing his arm so Luffy learned from that moment and that’s why he told Zoro not to fight back
